T. Salvatore was founded in 2003 by Tyrome Tripoli and Silvia Marinache
in response to the harsh employment conditions of the time. In 2002
Tripoli and Marinache left the United States to travel for a year.
Part of the trip was guided by Tripoli's art shows, part by his
necessity to surf, yet another part by Marinache's Romanian roots
and both by their yearning to travel.

Tyrome Salvatore Tripoli was born in southern California to Sicilian parents.
Tripoli started designing jewelry in 1988 using a lost-wax method and still
uses the same technique today.

Tripoli has been creating one-of-a-kind custom furniture and
architectural designs since 1991. His body of work ranges from
decorative metalwork to blown glass and found object sculpture.
